Come hang out in the cozy hive while babies play and caregivers can chat! Lots of play set ups for infants, babies, crawlers, and walkers and different spaces for parents and caregivers to spend time. The goal of The Apiary is to be a third space where children can play and families can build community.

Hive Hangs

A combination of structured entertainment and imaginative play for older babies and younger toddlers led by Alyssa, a former special education teacher. Examples of a gathering include story time, music, sensory play, and open play to follow with any toy of their choosing. The structured portion of this time will meet children where they are--no need to sit still or quiet, just bee.

Ba Bees in Motion

(baby/toddler)

Classes designed to help you learn strategies and techniques to teach ba-bee to move mindfully and purposefully. Understanding and supporting baby’s movement sets a strong foundation to meet developmental milestones as well as integrating reflexes at the developmentally appropriate times. Alyssa has experience in Craniosacral Therapy, Infant Reflex Integration, Infant Massage, and Intraoral Assessment and will share information that helps babies feel good in their bodies. Common props will be used to show stretches, positions, and touch techniques so parents can use this information in their home settings. While there is no age restriction, this may be most beneficial for pre-walkers.
