INVISIBLE THREAD PERINATAL & LACTATION
Invisible Thread is designed to support you in your home environment during the early stages of postpartum. Whether you need newborn education or have complex feeding issues to address Alyssa and Invisible Thread can help. With a myriad of certifications and trainings, Alyssa is able to offer support on a wide variety of newborn and postpartum topics. Alyssa is a certified postpartum doula (CAPPA), lactation consultant (Healthy Children Project inc.), perinatal mental health support professional (Postpartum Support International), craniosacral therapist (The Beames Institute), and has further education in interdisciplinary lactation and infant feeding topics. She is also a trained birth doula (DONA) and abortion doula (The Colorado Doula Project).
THE APIARY
The Apiary is a physical space in the heart of Scituate Harbor thoughtfully designed to support newborns and babies as well as the adults who love them. Since there are not many third spaces that are baby friendly, The Apiary hopes to offer that. In the community room families will be able to participate in both structured classes as well as open play. The common area will be a place to sit and enjoy each other as well as enjoying a beverage and snack from the neighboring coffee shops and bakeries. Private offerings of mental health chats, craniosacral therapy, individualized feeding consults, and education will also be available.
